Absolutely. Many of our customers who operate their own trucks use our various depots to collect topsoils, rootzones, treesands and composts. We can organise company specific pricelists for ease of ordering.
Can we collect from depot?
Can you deliver materials outside of your trading area?
We can deliver anywhere in the UK if required and have even seen our rootzones and topsoil go overseas. We always prefer to use our own fleet of grabs, hiabs and tippers but we have strong relationships with artic hauliers and pallet line companies, so anything is possible.
Are you products available in small as well as bulk bags?
We have two bagging facilities, one in Sevenoaks and the other in Leighton Buzzard, where we have the means to bag the vast majority of our products into 25kg bags. These are put onto pallets of 40 and shrink wrapped ready for delivery. See our flexible delivery fleet.
Do you deliver Saturdays?
Of course! Sundays can also be organised if asked nicely (one of the advantages of having our own fleet). Please note there could be additional charges associated with weekend deliveries.
Do you test your products?
Our various purpose topsoils, washed sands, treesands and rootzones are tested routinely twice a year, but when in high demand they are often tested independently, therefore we have extensive data on the majority of our materials. We also have a small (non-UKAS) laboratory at our head office where we can conduct PSD, pH and organic matter (LOI) tests if a quick turnaround is required.
How much material do you get in a bulk bag?
Our bulk bags are multi-trip units which carry approx. 1 cubic metre of lightweight products (composts, barks, lightweight soils, manure and lightweight horticultural blends) and approx. 850-950kg of our soils, sands and aggregates. Our forklift vehicles are equipped with weigh loaders to ensure we are achieving consistent weights.
Are you vehicles Cross rail and TFL Compliant?
Our transport is FORS Bronze registered, and the majority of the fleet have been modified to meet new TFL regulations for delivery into Cross rail and other regulated sites. Our drivers undergo twice yearly training sessions to keep them up to date with constantly evolving regulations and to ensrue they are operating as safely as possible.
What if there is a problem with the delivered product?
If you have a genuine problem with any of our delivered materials then please call into our head offices immediately and we will be happy to discuss the problem. If you are still unhappy with the product, then we will organise a visit to site to sample within 48 hours of your call.
