Bourne Amenity at Saltex 2009

SALTEX 2009
Bourne Amenity was pleased to welcome many old and new customers onto their stand H62 over the course of the three day show. Having been away from the show for two years and moved to a new position close to the main entrance, the number of visitors to the stand was especially rewarding. The same stand has already been booked for 2010.

COMPETITION
The “Name the Club” competition was especially popular with seven antique golf clubs on display and competitors being asked to identify the clubs against a list provided. Surprisingly no competitor got it completely right (although it has to be admitted that the difference between a “Mashie” and a “Mashie Niblick” is quite subtle!). However, the prize for the closest answer went to Tracy Flower of Canterbury City Council who only stumbled over the difference between a “driver” and a “bulldog spoon”. Congratulations to Tracy who gets a bottle of Champagne!

We will be holding the competition again next year (with the numbers moved around!) and look forward to welcoming our customers back.
