Topsoil

We are specialists in the handling and distribution of an unrivalled range of quality soils.

  • TS1-F: High quality sandy loam screened to 10mm, stone free and suitable for dressing turf
  • TS1-20: High quality sandy loam screened to 20mm
  • TS2: Natural soil, screened general landscaping grade
  • TS2a: Rejects from rootzone and topdressing manufacture suitable for levelling under turf
  • TS3: Economy soil procured from various sites, may contain some stones
  • TS4: Recycled soil screened to 10mm. Sourced from waste recycling operations, workable and cheap, suitable as verge fill
  • TS5: As dug topsoil, straight off a green field site
  • TS6: A mix of green compost and sandy loam, screened to 10mm
  • TS7: Ericaceous soil, with a low ph for acid loving plants
  • TS8: High quality bedding planter soil

Rootzones

We manufacture a comprehensive range of high quality rootzones, turf dressings and renovation mixes for natural turf playing surfaces.

As members of the British Rootzone and Top Dressing Manufacturers Association (BRTMA) we are committed to a consistently high and repeatable standard of rootzone manufacturing.

Our standard stock products include:

  • 80:20 Sand/Soil Blend
  • USGA Rootzone
  • 70:30 Sand/Soil Blend
  • 50:50 Divot Mix
  • 60:40 Sand/Soil Blend
  • 50:25:25 Soil/Lytag/Compost Mix

We routinely produce mixes to our client’s specifications. Some of the products we mix with our sports sand in whichever ratio is required, include:

  • Fensoil
  • Sandy Loam
  • Green Compost
  • Peat

All rootzones are shovel mixed and then screened through a 5mm screen directly into the delivery vehicle to avoid contamination.
